In addition to his work as editor and graphics specialist, Rollinson produces educational media in the field of ethnomusicology through Resonance Media. His films have been selected for festivals in San Francisco, New York , Amsterdam, Florence and elsewhere, and he continues work on his book Twentieth Century Post Production: Full Circle.
Rollinson decided to pursue his vision for a small, creative and quietly innoative post studio supporting high-end editing & graphics, and founded Portland Post in 1992. This was the first NW editing facility centered on component technology - which of course is the norm today - and clients were slowly but steadily convinced of the advantages of component editing. After almost ten years in Portland's Old Town district, Rollinson reorganized his vision and established Sector 550 in 2002, moving to a larger studio on the edge of NW Portland.
